Have you ever felt like this at work?

I work for several bosses and i must say that it is not very easy. I work for 5 official ones and 1 unofficial.
At first, it was fun and exciting but as the years passed (im nearing 3 yrs with the company), I started feeling abused and cheated, etc. I started (unconsciously) comparing myself with other people with the same position as mine who get the same pay but just 1 or 2 bosses and I started feeling sad about work and my situation.
Then it came to a point where I'd feel sad whenever I'm nearing the office in the morning.
Things will be better, but I guess at this point, I wanna know if anyone has been in the same or similar situation as mine. I just wanna know/hear how you dealt with it, what helped or did not help, etc.
I was told there will be an additional staff in a few months time which is great, but meanwhile, any word of advise?
I cna't just quit on my job because I have kids and there are no other company who can match my salary at this point.
thanks much for your inputs and sharing that will come!

If I've been unhappy at my job, I always try to find different employment. You said you aren't able to right now, but you should still try to keep your eye open for anything that might pop up. I'm not sure where you work or anything, but is there anyone you could talk to about how you're feeling? Maybe they could try to help you out and find a more suitable situation for you.

thank you neenie. i actually applied recently to 4 new jobs in other companies but I haven't heard from them. Our department head knows how I feel, that's why he pushed for the proposal to get a new staff. I'm glad he did something about it. Guess I'm on the crossroads as I wanted to quit but could not, for practical reasons. :)

When I entered on my present job, I experienced the same. I had to do everything I was told by the many bosses I had, official and personal, at that. I tried to be patient though my body aches at night. My patience had fruits. Now I'm already permanent in my job. Whenever there are new to our office, as if I could see my self through them when I was still new.

I once worked for a company that treated some employees better than others. I often felt discriminated. Then one day after over 22 years of employment there I was among a massive lay off of people who had even more time there than I did. This was nine years ago. I'll never forgive them for what they did to us as none were called back. But I know I'm better off. I work a lower paying job now but I am treated better there. I've learned I can live on a lot less and be happier doing it.
