What is the best gutiar software that can be used to record guitar tracks

I used to use cakewlak home studio. it easy to use. About the quality, I consider it is ok. Since I don't have a proper tools and studio for recording, I cannot really rate how good it will be.

Cakewalk seems to be the software of choice. it is easy to use and easy to understand there's also garage band through mac, but i'm not really a mac guy. in fact i use Audacity through my Linux machine it's simple and straight to the point and gives me high quality recordings
