I remember growing up with my father in the household and my brother! I didn't know who was worse! I could literally hear my dad through the door. His room door and my room door. I could never sleep how I wanted to. I'll wake up because of him in the middle of thing night. Start tossing and turning and eventually stayed up and turned on the tv lol it was just that bad! Do you have an experience like this? Do share, oh, p.s I don't have to deal with any of this anymore! So I sleep like a baby and no disturbances!!

My husband often falls asleep in a recliner while watching T.V. He will get to snoring louder than the show he's been watching. So if I also want to hear the T.V. the sound has to be turned up.

I had the same problem except I was the problem hahaha! But not anymore, I learned how to not snore so much anymore, which is a total lifesaver! But my dog would snore so loud in my room when he slept next to me. I just wanted to throw a pillow at him but he usually stops snoring when I poke him lol

Haha, I didn't even know dogs could snore. I don't own any pets, not the animal type. And I also never knew you could control your snoring, this is new information to me! Thanks for sharing!

my husband snores a lot but i bear it not because i love him but because we are one.when he starts to snores i remind him to sleep in side lying position so snoring will be minimize.another thing is i sleep before he sleep that is why i cannot longer hear his snoring.hehe.

Oh gosh! I have that experience with my father too but not everyday, maybe 1 whole month a year. My father used to work overseas and every time he is having a vacation for one month, there starts my nights to be sleepless. Even though our both doors are closed, I can still hear him loud and clear. Now he stays at home but thank God now that I am already working and I have to live separately. So I'm now snore-free.

My boyfriend snores really loud. He usually only does it on his back, so I will roll him over on his side if he is being too loud. That usually stops him and I'm so good at it now I don't even wake him up!

Mine isn't necessarily in my household, but when I was first married we went to one of my husband's family reunions. This was a deal where we had to bring our own tents and camp out on their property which was pretty big and had a field nearby with cows. My brother-in-law who is a pretty big guy... Oh man can he snore! He has sleep apnea and let me tell you... He snored so loud that night that not only did it keep everyone awake because it sounded like a jet engine but it also spooked the cows. I finally fell asleep due to exhaustion when the cows started to freak. I am never... ever going to forget that!

I remember when my mom would stop running around and relax. She would set in a chair in the livingroom and go to sleep. Well she was a snorer and she was loud! When my dad took naps he didn't snore! My bedroom was far enugh away to avoid not slepping to that! I have always waken up at night for lots of reasons! Noises, not being comfortable or whatever! Once I did have a boyfriend who was a really bad snorer! He kept me up when he stayed over at my place! I don't know how some couples sleep do sleep with one being a snorer!

My stepfather is the big snorer in our family. We have to speak over him as he falls asleep at the drop of a hat and is quickly snoring. I am surprised he does not wake himself up. We all learn to cope with his snoring as much as he does.
