do you sometimes wish to go with your boss wherever he/she wants to go?

i have stayed in this office for about 5 months now and i can say it's really great to be a super assistant to a big big boss
seem like i am his defence wherever he goes.. 
been twice from central and west europe with my boss for a technical, clarification meeting, etc.. been out of kingdom together with him to attend the same from nearby middle east countries..
i've never been to US and that's what im looking forward lol..

according your condition which you have written i wish like of having this type of job where you have to go various places. i agree that life of living get restricted and he takes you as defensive where ever you go but still you have enough to learn and travel if you love traveling as i do. condition every condition has good point as well as bad point with respect to various people so i took it as advantage but have never been with boss in traveling and visiting places so could not understand your harsh feelings if you do have any...still i can say that i want to try once this type of job.

US of A is on the top of my list as i have never been in that country. i came from spain and i have visited some european countries already but of course those countries where me and my boss have been from, it's my first visit though, so i think i still am lucky

HI zills: Well congratulations. This means that you are a very good worker. In my case I wouldn't care if I am doing what I really love to do and iof I am enjoying working with my boss. I think that, the fact that your boss trust in you in that way is something that should make you feel proud because this tell me that you are a very competent, qualified, intelligent and hard worker. Congratulations and thanks for sharing with us your feelings.

actually, i enjoyed everything here. it may be work related or non related, personal or not, i love all of it. at first, i find my job tiring although i never said boring. i'm always on the move and partly, i forgot some of my vices which is an added points for me. anyway, i can always ask for a break or a sick leave if ever i wanted to have a short off even for a day.. well that's a big thing for me to get refreshened then..
about your job, just do whatever you can do and don't try to be a TH and you will shine

hi zills good for you. I have never been able to do that. the most I c an share is my boss used to send me o ut for bagels for the library staff of which I was a member. but being a toady of the bpss also has its hazard like not being liked by the rest of the crew. I never went in for toadying up to the boss my business as thats a sure way to ultimately ending up getting fired.

your boss then was so sweet ms hatley..
all i can is that don't be a tryinghard if you tend to be a toady as surely that would be the start of your downfall. just do your best and you will shine. god has his own way of giving incentives to the people. some people anyway are just relying on grants, they lie off to a fruit bearing tree, mouth openned and closed eyes waiting for the fruit to fall. gosh what if a bird manure has been shot in there? ewwwwwwwww yucks!
