Hello myLotter, not long ago i had a bad experience here. Actually all because of my fault broke the rule. I accidentally put a link on discussion board, not my intend to attract people to go there. I know myLot member all great person, but only he/she act like owning this place. as a member like me or you, i think he/she just warn me (new member) not becoming "bad cop". But thank to him/her so i get good lesson. So i hope to all new mylot member, be safe, be patience, be good, and help others. Thank you.

Actually there are many New members and even some older ones who have posted links on here a time or two, and had their discussions removed. I think it is just something that most of the time you never think about something until it is too late, but personally they need to tell people why their discussion was removed so it can help others for sure. And for the older member to help you by pointing this out, that was Good of them for sure. I feel the Best way to keep this site exciting is by all of us helping each other and keeping this site a Great place to be.

Next time you want to share a website's URL with other MyLot members, be sure to deactivate the URL before posting the message. A way to do that is to remove the prefix http so the URL will become inactive.

Hi, Don't worry we experienced same thing. I guess, it is a common mistakes that a newbie to Mylot committed. Yes, I am thankful to other mylotter for reminding us with our mistakes. Well, we can learn from our mistakes. It's a not a bad thing, though. We accept it and learn from it. God bless...

Well yes that's the problem when any mylotter comes here to talk. Or more like to discuss. They don't read the FAQ's or the guidelines and start off a discussion and what's more is that if they get any new sites they would post a discussion asking people to join that site under their referrals. Banners are fine but why pasting links here? Since you are wise enough you would learn from your mistakes. It's a good thing if you gain some experience from here... Cheers!

Yes, I know of a few mylotters especially one in particular who raids the "mylot" section of discussions. Acting as if they own the place, its funny. I've had my run in with this person, we now have a better understanding of each other, but I know exactly what you mean.

As long as you follow the rules you will never have problems like that. Yes, I have had my posts deleted because the discussions they were under were deleted but I always try to follow the rules. Because, after all, MyLot is not a place to gain referrals but to make friends and bypass make profit. To me the most important thing here is that I find it very exciting commenting stuff and I have a great time here.
