my mom knows i smoke but she had only seen me once. i live far from my family because of work and we seldom talk about it. it's only my mom that doesn't smoke; me, my dad, my brothers smoke too. my boyfriend mokes but not as much as i do. i think i really need to minimize this because of my asthma. i just don't have the drive yet. thanks to you all.

Hi dear, I appreciate your will power. This is just one example and simply like this, all the hard and difficult things can be managed or achieved. Normally we would think it will be difficult, but when it become practical and we do with a will and wish, we feel it so easy. Similarly, I had taken a decision (not suggested by anyone), just my own decision that 'I will not eat any kind of non vegetarian food for 5 years, I and I could do it and after the term got over, I started eating the same. Any way, I don't like to smoke or drink, so that I don't want think of a stop option for smoking or drinking. However, what you did is a great job and I once again appreciate your will power and I respect the person who did the recommendation for you. Thank-s

That is great bro. Million of people are still struggling to quit from years of torturing their lungs with smoke like me, and always fail. I envy your friend trust in you, and your strength up to now. You will never smoke again, I believe you too. Smoke free life is wonderful.

I've been smoke free for over 11 years after kicking a three pack a day habit. Wasn't easy, never looked back. You don't either, friend.

Good for you and good for your friend! If you've made it six months, you'll make it the rest of your life. I quit about 25 years ago and I'm so glad... you will be, too.

Congratulations to you, then. Many people find it hard to quit. My boyfriend is one of them, but he's making progress. In January of this year he was smoking 10-12 sticks a day. Now he only smokes 5-6 sticks. He's trying to quit by October, on his birthday, because October will have been his tenth year of being a smoker. I wish him the best.

Wow, that is amazing strength! I'm not a smoker but knowing one and having studied it at a allied health course, I know it's not easy to go cold turkey. I do wish most smokers would have the same strength as you (or have someone trust them as your friend does), for their own health, others', and the world.
