The other day, during a mass I saw this old couple. Both could hardly even walk and the lady was holding on to man's shoulder for support while both of them walk slowly to receive the holy communion. Pierced my heart straight... OMG, this couple the way they support each other through their old age is really something. What a sight to see.

Wow, that is sweet! Here's a scenario that has touched mine: Over the weekend, I went home to my mum and dad's house. I have been living in a different city for 3 years now, but, every chance I get, I visit them. We were on our way to church, but our car was at the mechanic's, so we had to walk. I let them walk ahead of me and watched them as we walked. They were holding hands! (Or, more accurately, my mom was holding on to my dad because she had a hard time walking). It was extra special for me to see them like that after all these years. My father's sisters have always not liked my mom. Maybe they were envious of how much my dad loved her. To see them this sweet even up to now is a total affront to them. They cannot simply destroy this love they have for each other.

what an affectionate couple! what devout Christians! They walk with difficulty and depend on each other for survival. We cann't help pitying the old couple.Their present state is what we will come to in the future so we must show respect for the elderly and care for the elderly.

That would be the relationship that my daughter had with my grandmother. My grandmother was eighty-two years old when Kathryn was born, but they were lucky enough to be able to share four years of life with each other. During the last months of my grandmother's life she lived with us. She was recovering from a broken hip and for that reason had to use a walker. Kathryn was a gymnast at the time and thought the bar on the walker made a great tool for practicing her flips. What I remember the most is my grandmother holding the walker down with all that she had so that Kathryn could practice flipping over it.

Oh yes my friend there sure are many beautiful things around us which makes us wonder how beautiful the world could be. There was this once i saw a woman pretty much old in a hospital who was just telling every one about her expired husband and went on so beautifully about how he treated her and how he took care of her in every difficulty both faced in all their life. I could see some weeping faces silently and felt touched myself. That moment was beautiful.

Just last week, i had witnessed a fire incident that broke out just few residences away from our office.Watching from the 5th floor of our building, i noticed an old woman struggling from her house, with her arms were her two pet dogs. One of the firefighters who responded on the scene approached her to render assistance since the old woman seemed to be rushing so hard and in panic. Being so compassionate that i am, my emotion was deeply touched by that disheartening scenario that always influences my whole being whenever i get to remember it. After a day's work, as i was watching news on tv, i learned that the old woman whom i am referring to, was an old-maid, living alone in a scanty shelter (now burned into ashes)with two pet dogs as companions- with whom she considered as her very own treasures. As someone who values the roles of animals to mankind, i was really filled with so much joy, bearing in mind that though there are people who care less of others' welfare, still this ordinary person (old woman) does.In a tv interview, she professed that although her belongings were gone, she's still happy knowing that her companions (two dogs)are safe and alive.
