Active Admin on PTC

As we all know, there are thousands, if not millions of ptc and more and more are launched everyday while some went under and went scam. An active admin on the site may not mean much as far as the legit-ness of the site goes, but to me, it indicates that the site is trustworthy if it has an active admin. Let's face it, why would an admin bother to reply a query of a member if he/she is trying to cheat you and not pay you of your click earnings? I would like to share my latest experience with one ptc site. Some of you may have remembered that I responded on one discussion about the problem I have with Tenadsplus. I registered on this site sometime in Feb this year, after seeing that ptc-investigation has declared it to be legit. Click rate is great, and there are more than 5 ads everyday. The site was offline for more than a week (could be more than two weeks) due to upgrade/update. On 2nd April, I could not log on. I got a pop up saying Invalid log in details. I thought 'WTF, I signed in everyday till yesterday, I could not have forgotten the details'...I did the recovery, it came back with a pop up 'Username does not exist or incorrect email id entered'. Checked my email, sure enough, it is the correct one - I have received the validation email, so what's the problem? I waited till the next day, thinking it is a glitch in the system, still could not log on. I wrote to the admin using the Support section of the site. I got the confirmation of having received my support ticket. No email replies. I was ready to give up when I noticed that the site has a box to input the support ticket number to check the status. I checked it, sure enough, there was a reply from the admin. We went back and forth in the support section. Apparently the system deleted a bunch of inactive accounts and mine was deleted along with those. I was sad, really upset as I had more than $3 in my account and almost reaching the $5 payout. To cut it short, it all got sorted out a few minutes ago. I re-registered, the admin gave me $3 as agreed to my new account (I use the same username as before) and then here is the big surprise: She also gave me $5 Rental Balance, 10 Direct Refs and 25 Rented Refs. I was shocked to say the least. What I would like to ask, from this happy ramblings is that - Do you give up easily with the PTCs or do you explore every option before declaring them as the bad guys? - How do you feel when you received unexpected things? The Lesson I've learnt from this experience is that if you follow the rules, there is nothing to worry. If I broke the rule or made a false claim, I would not be getting all these rewards and I would not be willing to pursue it to get to the end. Honesty does pay sometimes. Thank you for reading my ramblings. I just wanted to share my happy news here and hear your opinions about ptcs and their admins.

Wow not only was your discussion filled with a lot of helpful information, my my so were the responses. lol Yes I h=too had a few issues with a site or two about logging in but unfortuantely they never responded to any of my support and or email pleas. I have to say I am impressed with the one you mentioned and wished they were all as helpful as this one, would be a breath of fresh air from the some of the crummy ones out today. Well worth the reading your rambling.

You guys certainly put a smile on my face right now. Today I started earning a bit from my free refs. I hope to reach payout soon and I am seriously considering upgrade after my first cash out.

Hi katrinapaz, thank you for your kind words. Yes, following the rules and reading the Tos and understanding them will surely solve some problems that most members have. I think we have become too lazy most of the times.

you are right zralte, often times we are lazy and just rant and complain and tell the world that those sites are no good rather than going and asking the admin right away. I hope a lot of members can read this post and be inspired :)

Yes, lots of members made discussions on how a site cheated them or their problems with a site. Most of the time when another suggest to them to contact the admin, they refused.

Hi kingkhan, welcome to mylot. And thank you for participating in my discussion. I agree, there is nothing like honesty. Cheaters always lose somehow.
