Do you still remember something from books in your primary school life?

My cousin met with some difficulties when he was doing his math homework, and asked me for some help.At first ,I think it would be quite easy because it was just an exercise for a primary student. But when I read it carefully ,I found I could not work it out for I had forgotten almost all that I had learned in my primary school. What's more, the text book had changed a lot .So I had to search some information from internet.
Well ,have you ever met with such affairs in your life ?How much do you still remember about your primary school knowledge?

It's been a long time since I went to primary school and when I think about it now, it's hard to remember much about any of the books used then. I have vague memories about early books used to teach you to read. Things like "See Spot". "See Spot Run", "Run Spot Run". I think after I went through primary school they started something called "New Math". I don't really know what that is or if that's something they still teach. I worry though that here in the US, calculators and computers will kill off our future generations ability to do math. Kids should not be given a calculator until they know what numbers really are.

I do not remember much at all from my classwork in grade school or high school. I wish I could remember diagramming sentences, because it is such a big help in composing a sentence. I don't think I could help someone in grade school either! Good for you for trying.
