Vacation time... General House Cleaning Time!

We've started our general house cleaning last weekend and until now, we haven't finished it. The house now is in total mess, we have to take out everything from the cabinet because there are few things which the rat just destroyed. Clothes needs to be sort out, to share the ones which my children have already outgrown. I was surprised to see that there are lots of old children's clothes, so timely that my cousin's children are staying in my mother's house for vacation. I found too some old stockings which I did not use nor plan to use it sometime, I will give it to my mother who are fond of taking care of orchids. She can used it to tie the orchids to the drift wood. I need to laundry everything again before I put it back to the closet. It would take lot of my time especially that we have water shortage here in our area. I just hope I could rearranged everything before the vacation ends. I'm just too lucky that my husband and my daughters are patiently doing it while I'm at work.

Yes, it's better to do it little by little because you will never have enough time to do it even it becomes holiday. There are lot of things that's need to be done in the house like cooking and washing... so it cannot be done in a single day! Lets just enjoy while doing it... turn on the radio and you'll never notice that you'll get tired.

Oh, I intend to do the same when Holy Week comes along. A general cleaning is in order for our house too.
I go to work everyday and the only time that I might be able to do a general house cleaning is on weekends. But then, weekends seem too short for me to accomplish all that needs to be done on top of regular house cleaning and tidying.
I also would want to check on some minor repair and repainting that could be done during the holidays.
