I just heard on the news...forget which one...that to try to comprehend the massive debt the country currently has, they broke it down into comparing it to seconds (in time) and for the current trillions we are in debt (forgot the actual amount...seems to change every day but it was in the trillions) the comparable seconds in time would put us back 31,000 years. Not that that makes things any easier to understand, all they have to do is stop supporting every country on the globe and we'd be close to a surplus...but do the math if you get bored...do you get that many seconds?

Oh I know what you mean I just read about all the changes they would like to make. I read through what Obama and his people are putting out there and compared it to what Ryan and his people are putting out and you know it amazes me that the billions it takes to support the senate, congress and all the rest in DC hasn't been touched at all. Both sides has their own agendas and neither is actually caring about the people or the country other then what meets their own ends. They all put us here. You can blame Bush you can blame Obama but you can't blame only one of them, it was both sides.

They each blame each other and when that doesn't work...they back track till they do find someone to blame. I think there are just to many people up there making all these laws and there are just to many cooks in the kitchen. ANd none of them know a thing about how "we all" live. THey haven't had to do without a single thing in so long, they haven't a clue about what they are even talking about much less making laws about.
