Mary had a little lamb

We know that Mary had a little lamb and that it followed her to school one day. We also know that it was against school rules. What I want to know is...did the school rules prohibit lambs specifically or all animals? Would it be discrimination if it was a seeing eye lamb?

Mary had a little lamb, and it was black as charcoal, and every time it jumped a fence, You could see its little- on the way to school, of course! Yes Mary's lamb was a seeing eye lamb and was allowed to go to school every day (with Mary!)
