The kingdom of god or also called the Kingdom of Heaven. A lot of people ask themselves and or others where is the kingdom of god. When is the kingdom of god coming. They also ask does the kingdom of god exist. Now regardless of what religion or spiritual path you take every spiritual or religious person believes that the kingdom of god exist. The big question is where is the Kingdom of God and when will it come. Now in being a Christian I am going to take it from a Christian point of view. Now according to the Book of Luke Chapter 17 versus 20 and 21 says " Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of god would come, Jesus replied," The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say here it is, or there it is, because the Kingdom of God is within you." " Now with that being said if the Kingdom of God is within us how do we get to it. Do we get by searching within our selves. Do we get there by living a righteous and humble life. Do we get there by accepting the Lord as our savior. Or are is there another way to get there. Or do we get by doing a combination of all these different things. Tell me what you think.

Since the Kingdom of God is within you, where do you think the logical place to look for it would be? Once you have found it, you will realise what it is and you will automatically know what to do about it. There are many references to it in the Gospels (and also in the rest of the New Testament). Some of them tell you what it is like and where it can be found, others tell you how you can 'inherit' it. In other words, although it is there within you, you can either accept it or reject it.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Luk 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein. However, it seems that Jesus Himself may have been using the term to describe two different things (or two different concepts of the same thing): Luk 22:16 for I say unto you, I will not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Luk 22:18 for I say unto you, I will not drink from henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. This same concept (of the Kingdom of God being something which has not yet arrived or which is to be realised in the future) is the one that is most often found in the Acts and in the letters of Paul.

Actually If we take a verse from its context, chances are we can interpret it wrongly and get meaning that have nothing to do with its intent as it was spoken. In the case of Luke 17:21, if you will observe, when the Pharisees asked "When is the Kingdom of God coming?" in verse 20 then you should make it a point to keep reading the verses up to 37. Jesus spoke first to the Pharisees (verses 20-21) and then to His disciples (verses 22-37). If you will study well, His reply to the Pharisees is actually a rebuke which means "You won't be able to discern the coming of the Kingdom because you haven't known that I am its chief representative, though I have been dwelling among you." Then in the succeeding verses Jesus explained to his disciples and gave a more detailed explanation about the timing and conditions of establishing His Kingdom and if only you read further you can very well establish the real meaning of the verse in question. Well dear, let me tell you one thing, if you are a born-again believer then the Kingdom of God is certainly within you but if not, sorry to say then that the Kingdom of God can't be found in you no matter what searching you do . Why? This is because apart from the fact that the kingdom of God is universal and eternal,it is also spiritual. It is spiritual—found within all who accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. Those who do this enter the kingdom of God and become part of that kingdom for eternity. It is a relationship "born of the spirit" as John 3:5 says , and we have confident assurance that it is so because the Spirit bears witness with our spirits as Romans 8:16 testified. We should be wise in understanding the verses in the Bible lest we get wrong and confused. This is the reason why we need to ask the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Truth to show us the truth whenever we read the Bible. And by the way, my I tell you please that only genuine Christians do have the Holy Spirit which will them unto the truth. This is the reason why only a Christian can rightfully interpret the Bible, those who are not no matter how intelligent they maybe can't possibly understand the Bible as much as Christians do because the non-Christians do not have the leading of the Holy Spirit. Now if are a Christian (I mean genuine Christian, one who has repented of his sins and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior), don't despair if you can't easily understand the Bible. You just have to pray sincerely to the Holy Spirit to guide you in finding the truth in His word and if you do, see how you can understand the wonderful meanings hidden in the verses.

I am not sure who this Jesus Christ guy actually was but he did have some very profound things to say. The idea that there is some "god" figure sitting up in heaven watching what people are doing and rewarding or punishing them is of course just nonsense. this seems to be what Jesus was saying that your god is inside you and he may be watching you because are watching yourself. It is a pity that over the years priests have taken this simple concept and twisted it, distorted it and invented all sorts of add ons like limbo or purgatory just to suit their own ends and not to help their followers

"Now regardless of what religion or spiritual path you take every spiritual or religious person believes that the kingdom of god exist." Well, actually that depends on how you define such terms. I do not believe in any "god" in the sense of a higher being, but I am very spiritual and I do believe that "god" is within us in the sense that I believe that we are each the ruler of our own life. I equate the term "god" with the collective conscious. I do believe that we get to heaven by searching within ourselves. I believe that heaven is simply inner-peace. Inner-conflict then, is hell. I do not believe that we get there by accepting any faith. I have seen many people who are devout to their religion, whichever that may be, who hold a lot of malice in their hearts, regardless of the fact that their religion specifically teaches that we shouldn't judge others. I believe that if we do our best, treat others with kindness and allow love, rather than fear, direct our lives, then we will experience heaven. Namaste.

i think that this kingdom of god is on this same earth on which we are because some people think that heaven is above us i mean in the skies. and to get there we must first sincerely repent our sins, receive JESUS as our savior and try to life a holy life every day. i mean we should observe the commandments and the most important love other as yourself and do every thing the bible says.
