Short or Long Hair

This question is for all guys out there, although women can participate too and voice out your opinions. I've heard a lot from guys I know like family/relatives and friends that their ideal girl/women would have long hair. Whenever I get a haircut, one my cousin would say... I prefer the long hair than the short one. A friend of mine has really been wanting to do something about her hair since she has a round face and her hair is too thin and flat. We asked her to do some layering and trimming but she said her husband doesn't want her hair to be cut. So generally speaking, of all they guys I know... they prefer women with long hair rather than the short do. For guys, what do you prefer for your girl/women may it be your wife, girlfriend, friend, sister, mother... SHORT OR LONG? And for women, what do you say about your hair?

Obviously long hair. Short hair never attracts me anyway. Have you searched same discussions before starting this one? I think its second discussion regarding this subject within a month. Please give a look... i think both are almost same.

Guys prefer Long hair coz its attractive/sexy for them.. but most women prefer short. I had a friend who is really popular coz she had a long straight hair, beautiful face and a curved bod but when she cut her hair real short I heard every guy that had a crush on her actually turned-off just because of a cut. But for me, my friend was even more gorgeous her face lit up and she had a clean sexy look. If those were real men that had a huge crush on her they wouldn't get that easily turned off it goes to show they were jerks. for all the women who stood up for their short hair YOU are all beautiful:)

Most time when people have a crush on another it usually for looks and not for personality. Crush and lust are like two similar words. Dont get me wrong crush can turn into love but for now it is just lust.
So when a boy has a crush with a girl with long hair its just beauty they are looking at. It doesn't mean that they are jerks because that is just the way the human body is set up. You claim that a lot of boys had a crush on her. Then when she cut her hair everything change. When she cut her hair now her personality is the same but keep in mind she looks different. That crush that most boys had will start to go away. Better yet that lust that most boys had will start to go away. IF you know maths then it would safe to say the degree of lust that a person has another person is directly proportional to beauty. So the uglier you are the lower the degree of lust. The more beautiful you are, the higher that degree.
So by cutting her hair she did loose some of her beauty.
Keep in mind this saying "beauty is the eyes of the beholder". So what is beautiful to me might not be beautiful to another person.
So again by cutting her hair she did loose some of her beauty from the boys perspective thus lowering the degree of lust. Resulting in them getting turned away.
There might only be a few boys left who might still see her as beautiful and may still lust over her. These boys who may have the courage to approach may then get to really know her personality. The next stage of all of this is love. Then love will come in the equation.
All I am saying is that you cant call boys jerks because they are turn off by the girl cutting her hair. The fact of the matter is that most males in this world want their dream girl to have long hair.
And for me that is too. Let me say I am not with a long hair girl now. I was with one but i broke up with her because I realize that her personality is rotten. I am now with a girl with a relatively short hair and I love her to the max. But even though she is really beautiful already to me i feel that if she grew her hair longer she would look better.

I really hate girls withh short hair with a passion. I am usually only attracted to girls with long hair. They just look much better.
You see my mother use to have long hair and about a year ago she cut her hair very very short. Even up to this day I am upset with her. I remember every time when my mom come to my school everybody would say "wow she is beautiful". But now nobody even notice her. And to me i hate her looks now. I dont know why she did it. Seriously.
Seriously if in the future I have a wife with a long hair she can never cut it and I mean never.
I just cant see the big deal how girls love beauty but yet still they are making themself uglier by cutting their hair. Maybe they think that cutting their hair will make them look better. But they have it the exact opposite. In no way nor no circumstances does cutting their hair makes them look better. No way at all!!!

I prefer my girl to be long hair because for me a long haired lady is more attractive especially when she has the face and the body I want, plus the character of course..

If a guy have a short hair then he would look like a good boy and mostly elders would like it.
If a guy have a long hair then he would look like a hero and mostly girls and friends would like it.
But I prefer to have a hair between long and short.

This depends on the shape of each woman's face. Some woman might look like a princess if they have got long hair, while others might look like an old long-haired lion! However, it also depends on the people who give the comments. This is a kind of value judgement with personal opinion involved. So, you just choose the style you feel that suits you most, and make you have the best feeling. Remember that you can neither please everyone nor make everyone like your look. Just make yourself happy. That's enough!

If I were to say to my sister or friends or mother or even my aunts then I would opt their hair style according to the job or thing they are always engaged at. An always busy lady wouldn't find time to keep her hair long and always caring for it. But for the house wives, without that a tight schedule always, the long hair won't be a bigger trouble. Many are like find matching hair styles to your body structure, their face or their height too. 
I find it very odd when the girls who are short have longer hair and when the mere opposite is the case too. After these speculations to the hair styles of the girls, we have to leave the choice to they themselves, right. Why would we keep on forcing them for their style, huh!

I tried to have a short hair before it looks good but i can't fix it the way i want it so i decided to have a long hair now i should say i have long curly hair now .

hello,
I am a college student I have a boyfriend and I am a short hair lady because I much prefer it because it is more comfortable to me and easy to manage at the same time. I don't know I just want my hair short because I can put style on it even it is short actually not too short some kind of a medium hair. My boyfriend agree to me whenever I cut out my hair in to short because he said it is the best suit me.

I always had long hair (up to my knees) but after I moved to Canada I had to cut my hair short due to the cold weather and the hectic lifestyle. In the beginning I continued on with long hair, wake up early in the morning shampoo, blow dry etc. and run for work but as time passed I started experiencing neck and shoulder pain (I believe because of cold weather and thickness of my hair) and eventually I decided to get them cut. I was surprised how expensive it was to get my hair cut short that I thought I would have been better off if I had cut it myself and then come to the barber.
I guess for guys it's the beauty that long hair present but for ladies sometimes it can be more pain than anything else.

For me ladies with short hair is always a turn off.Long hairs not only adds a feminine touch to the ladies but also makes them look wanting.I have always advocated long hairs for my close friends and family.As far as guys are concerned I dont like to keep mane but at the same time I dont want a clean shave or a short haircut.Instead I prefer to keep hair a bit on the longer side which can be maneuvered as per my wish and depending on the place I go.
