I just read a news, a newly-wed Swedish couple on a four-month honeymoon were hit by six natural disasters, including the Australian floods, Christchurch earthquake and Japanese tsunami.they left Stockholm on Dec. 6,2010,then got stranded in Munich due to heavy snowstorm, then they flew to Cairns, Australia, which was then struck cyclones, then they headed south to Brisbane, but the city was suffering massive flood,so they went to Perth, where they escaped bush fires, then they flew to Christchurch, New Zealand, arriving just after a 6.3 earthquake,so then they flew to Japan,a few days after they arrived Japan,Tokyo was rocked by Japan's largest earthquake, Luckily they finally returned to Stockholm safely, they said they experienced so many disaters, they also went through their marriage trials, they feel happy that they are still together.

Wow, that is indeed one hell of a honeymoon! But like you mentioned, it might be a very good lesson to them that they are still together "through thick and thin, for better or for worse" even with all the natural disasters that happened while they were on their world trip honeymoon. Hope their marriage lasts for a long long time! PS: Interesting to note though that they didn't consider themselves to be the ones bringing the "bad luck" to the countries they stepped foot on.....

I also believe this couple's marriage will last for a long time,if they have troubles or quarrels in their future life,as long as they think of this honeymoon experience, they will find those daily troubles are so negligible. I just checked the news again, the last destination of their honeymoon is China, they did not experienced disater here, as a Chinese, I feel lucky they did not bring bad luck here :+)

I just hope that their marriage will last and hope they will survive with all the trials of of being married, just like how they survived the 6 disasters. Good luck to both of them.
