I have seen todays younger generation who are more attracted to love than their career. One friend of mine who has completed his post graduation is in love with a girl. He is still idle, not doing any work. But still he is thinking as how to get married the girl first. I have tried several times to explain him to get in to a career first. He did not listened my words.

Different generations have different trends. A hundred years ago, children were more interested in wars and religions. Nothing on earth would come before these two things. Nowadays, children are more to love and romance. Why? Because 1. Songs; nowadays, songs are mostly about 'love', while during a century ago, songs and musics were mostly written for kings and religions. 2.Idols; Children's idols, like singers, plays one of tne most important roles in children's behavior. 3.Romantic movies; romantic movies make children feel that love is so wonderful, and want to go for it.

So, in order to change the trend, the behavior of the idols, and the style of sensitive things, like movies and songs, must be changed first. Love is a good thing, though. But having children sticking on love too much is not good for the country's development.

I would definitely blame it on our bollywood mushy unreallistic romantic movies which make love the supreme most of all.I have seen many a guys trying to repeat or comparing their own love stories with those in the movies they have seen. They get so inspired from these movies that they tend to neglect their career and prioritise their love interest. The fact that they should understand is there is a huge difference between the fiction and reallity.

i do not agree with you, we choose what we watch and parents can monitor their children. yes some might get inspired from these movies but i do not think they play a big part of this problems.

hopefully he will come around. i use to be like that and with constant encouragement i realize that women can wait and the fact is women do not want a broke man so its better to get an education and the right girl will be out there for me. if a girl cannot respect the fact that i want to get an education then she is not good for me.
