There is a huge difference between playing loud music and a concert. I can't do inside concerts, they do get to loud sometimes. It is just to much for my head. Loud noises or to many noises get to me. I am only 27, I don't think I am getting to old. Some people it just bothers them and some it doesn't.

you are never too old for music. i stopped going to concerts a few years ago because of the prices and also- i prefer to listen to my favorite groups in the comfort of my own home. i play the music loud- especially if it is hard rock- heavy metal. by the way- i am 60 years old.

I am not old only in my 30's, but I like my music loud in my house but I don't like going to concerts that play my music loud. I don't know why but my music at home don't hurt my ears like at concerts. Maybe I don't play my music that loud.

i guess we are on the same boat here. i also play loud music too. well i guess because we can not hear ourselves specially when we are with someone we like to talk with? i can not say getting old is the reason for there are a lot of people who are old but still goes to concert and loves listening to loud music. i myself dont know why but maybe we are already in it so in our leisure time we rather have something not so loud.

We might think we like to listen to loud music until we actually go to a concert. the volume of music at a concert can be coniderably more than what we are used to. if it is a band we are anxious to see perform we might not care how loud it may be.

It is a matter of personal preference really not the age... At least you have a long way to go for your ears compared to a person who is always on a gig. But on the other side, it is really not the loud volume but the frequency settings I think. I am also a fond of going to live gigs but if the sound of all the instruments and the voices are just on the right frequency, I can stand that loud sound until the night is over..

hi chipesterkhan its one thing playing your own loud music as You can control how soft or loud it is , bu t in a concert you have no control'over the decibel levels and they c an really hurt one's ears too. I don't think you are getting old just because concerts hurt your ears. my son has very good hearing and very loud concerts bother him too. nah you are not too old at all.
