I still have not done my taxes

I did my federal because I got a refund but I haven't done my state because I owe. If I owe I always wait until the last minute to do them and send them in. I will do them tonight. I'm such a procrastinator.

Luckily for some reason this year you have until Monday to send in your taxes without penalty. It is crazy how many people think they HAVE to get their tax returns in by the 15th of April when they are getting a refund. There is no penalty (that I know of) for filing late (an extension that takes you to August 15th? or September 15th) if the government OWES you money. If YOU owe the government money as you and I do... you better get SOMETHING in there and if anything overshoot what you think you will owe and then do an amended return later to get the money back that you are owed. I am exactly the same way. I was in the post office today (thinking this was the last day to file) and was told by someone else who owed that indeed it was not. I felt like walking right out of line and coming back Monday. Seriously. Zelo

I did my federal months ago because I got a refund. I always file as soon as I get my w2 if I am getting a refund because I want that money but when I owe I wait to the last minute because I don't want to part with my money until then.

Wow, Such a procrastinator! Is it serious in ths states that you would pay for your taxes later? Hey, be careful , what if FBI heared you and catch you !!! Hehe....kidding,of course. But wish you luck!

Well considering I owe $1000 because of my stupid employer yes it is serious to me because I usually get a refund but my employer didn't take out state taxes. Fortunately this year they have started to take it out so I won't owe this year.

I am tired of taxes and will not be filing this year. When I need help they never assist me; but they never hesitate to attempt to take away from me! I will give no more this year. Good-luck!

I don't mind paying my fair of taxes because I know it goes to things like police, and services that we need. My problem is the government stealing and wasting our money.
