with your own recipes, will you be able to create your own cookbook?

This, in fact, has been one of the things I want to do, but haven´t done yet. I have startd it though. My idea is to make a short story book in which each story has a recipe that goes with it. I have written some on them, but not all the ones I want. I hate those very thin books written by women

I'm not there yet. I can say I only have a few of my own recipes. Though I have my own touch in some of the international recipes I get my hands on. You know what, that gave me a good idea. I love collecting recipes, maybe I better start writing and collecting my own versions of these recipes.

I have several hundred recipes from various sources all of which I have annotated as I prepared them. I think that I could probably make several cookery books on various themes. Although cookery books are still very popular, the ones that really sell are by celebrity cooks and by writers in other fields who use their individuality and experiences (usually along with expensive professional photographic illustrations). I could not hope to compete in that market: I have not 'made a name for myself' in ways that would sell a cookery book!

Not yet, but I am getting closer I guess, since I do make up new recipes from time to time. That would be a great goal to have actually!
