Will you watch the UK Royal Wedding?

April 16, 2011 6:29am CST
The UK Royal wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton will take place on Friday 29th April. Do any of you plan to watch the wedding or celebrate in anyway? Are those of you living in countries outside of the UK aware of the celebrations taking place or do you not have an interest in the wedding?

Yes--as a matter of fact, we were invited to a party to watch it! I think it will be great fun. I remember watching the wedding of Charles and Di when I was a kid at summer camp and it seemed so magical. I am not sure my two kids (both boys) will think it's that special, but you never know.

Meaning you are living in England as well? Lol! I can't believe that someone even organizes that.

No, I live in the northeast USA! But a friend who is a British Isles transplant is having the party. . . I was at a camp in NY state when we had the camp-wide party for Charles and Di. I guess the ties to the motherland are still alive and well in this part of the country!

As a Filipino of course I am aware of their Royal wedding. I even write it on my planner that I am going to watch their Royal wedding on air by Friday. As what I have heard it will be aired here in the Philippines by 5:00 pm. No idea what is the time in England if that is the case I could assume that is 9:00 in the morning. I even want to watch their lovelife story here in the Philippines.

The media coverage of the royal wedding here in the US is pretty intense and to be honest I don't really understand all the hoopla about it. It gets more media coverage than some wars do! Anyway, I won't be watching it though I do wish the young couple all the best of luck. Hopefully this generation of royals will find the marital happiness that eluded the previous one.

I'm really not sure. I'm debating about it. I may watch it, but I'm really not sure. If I don't, well, it's not like I won't be hearing about it. We'll see how I'm feeling about it.

I will be at work. I have intention of taping it. I'm sure the coverage on the news will be adquate for me. I think millions of people will watch it. However, they may not admit it. Best Wishes!
