Chasing target seems nothing

Hello myLotters, have you noticed that in this ongoing IPL the team who bats second are winning most of the match ? Whatever the target is, be it less than 100 or more than 175, makes no differences. For e.g. Mumbai couldn't protect their runs and lost to Kochi, Rajasthan too failed to Kolkata, Deccan Chargers lost to Punjab and so on. It seems chasing targets are not that tough and we are getting some good crickets with lots of fours and sixes. Thats brings exciting moments with no prediction success. This editions IPL is really good with no such strong dominating teams so far. All team has lost at least once. Good for IPL, good for us too. We can enjoy nice cricket and here it goes... IPL Rocks!!

I think it seems that scoring 180 odd runs batting first is bad luck this season. Most of the teams that have batted second have chased down the scores pretty easily. I think this might be due to the fact that teams chasing come with gay abandon and know that they have nothing to lose. And this seems to have worked in favor of teams that are chasing. Cheers! Ram

Hi rafaelnadal, Yes that is a quite happening thing this time. But Delhi Daredevils are struggling to defend their total. Do not know what is the result. But the Pune Warriors were on top by the end. That teams batting second are winning could be be because of the behavior of the pitch also. And as long as sixes and fours are concerned the honey of T 20 match lies there only.
