Need a loan?

India

I just had made a referral online in a chat site and he seemed to do nicely chatting away with most of them. In two weeks he managed someone to get him a 500$ dollar loan from some random guy who met him in chat and they both got a deal set. I mean i really don't believe that. How can anyone give 500$ away just to another guy whom he never met? Moreover he gave it away just like that without offering any security for it? What would you do if you wanted a loan? Would you ask someone away like that expecting that they would give you? Speaking of loans i need one right now myself. If anyone is interested please let me know via private messaging! Cheers!

It sound peculiar to offer a loan to an unknown person over the internet in a chat site. I think they need to have identification and proof that it is real and sincere.

Maybe that is the way he tried to get a loan from you. Online loan? Sounds like a blackmail to me... Well, what do I know...?

Yeah, I hope no one is falling victim to the guy.

Maybe that's why no one started an online loan system in here...

I haven't often had to borrow money but when I did it was from friends and I paid it back within a couple of weeks. I would not borrow or loan money to a stranger. I have sacrificed and worked very hard to put money in the bank so that I will not have to ask anyone for a loan. I wonder how that man spends his money--does he consider a meal at a restaurant a necessity or can he not live without cable television? People waste money and don't know the differences between wants and needs. No, I would never ask for a loan from someone I didn't know and I would not loan money a stranger. Those people I do loan money to, I consider it a gift. If I get it back, that's great. But I don't expect it to be repaid.

Well that's a nice way of doing so. You work hard and stand on your own feet and then your hard work is paid off. You have been here a long time i can see that. Good policy! Actually i have a need for money right now!

Internet Loans I am in Well, I do believe that this kind of things can happen and you need some special gifts from the Lord. Unless you are planning to cheat away, chances of this happening are quite rare. I dont say that there arent honest people on the Internet but finding one who is willing to invest or give you an amount as a loan, I think you need to be personally known to the lender and also others around. If I asked anyone an amount on the Internet, I will not on the first instance but if I did, I think no one will help me... Why should anyone help me? I am not that important dear.

Ya well that's the problem isn't it? This is the internet. It's quite hard to meet someone who would give us the loan and help us in here. As you said we have to know the person personally and instill a certain trust for us in them. But that takes real gifts and talent also!

I will never do that. It's not safe and it's not a small sum to begin with. ON top of that, chatting in a chat site does not make anybody there my friend, because they are still strangers to me. It does not matter if i've ever seen them or known them for years, the most important thing is my trust in them, as well as my feelings. If it takes $500 to know a person, i would say it's a cheap price to pay, but i wo't opt to learn it that way.

Well that's true also. But it was remarkable how my friend managed to coax a guy to lend him 500$ isn't it? It takes a lot of skill and trust and not to mention that the other person has to be convincing also. He must be some kind of idiot to just give away a huge amount of money like that! Well if you had trust in the person then you would give the money easily. But trust takes years to build and not just a moment!

I dont think that someone could just lend money to someone else that he does not personally know moreover if it is from the internet. There is little or no guarantee that this person who was loaned with the money will really pay unless you have some collateral. That is a big amount of money and if I am loaned with that I would really doubt. Times are tough right now and I dont think that amount can be loaned right away.

Well that's indeed true. times are really tough now if you ask me.... Earning seems hard enough while giving a loan would seem even harder!
