It has always been my dream. After i have finished my school my plans are to go on an exchange to Japan for 1 year. I was really really sad when i heard the news about the quake/tsunami. Im kinda japan addicted, but im not someone who is really into manga and is emo or something. They just live there so peacefully and it is such a wonderfull country. So tell me, anyone els wants the same and why do you want that?

I traveled around the world when I was 20 to 21 years old. I really loved it in Australia and did think of emigrating there. I liked its superb climate, friendly people, picturesque landscape, high standard of living and its outdoor activities. Emigrating there sadly didn't happen to me and so I missed out on that opportunity. I hope that you will be able to move to Japan. One My Lot member has visited Japan to an area not involved in the earthquake and had a lovely time.

Hi Maximax and Remcot. I am right now in Japan for a vacation. In my three weeks of stay here, I find the place very nice to live. Everything is in order and the place is very safe. You can walk alone at night without you being harassed or bothered by anyone else. People here are very nice.

Hi Remcot and Dorisday, I got made redundant from my job and it was very challenging to find another job. So I let out my cottage for around £500 a month and got a working holiday visa for Australia. My airline ticket for around £1000 came out of my savings. It is lovely that you are currently in Japan Dorisday. I am pleased to hear that you are having a very pleasant time.

Japan is a nice developed country. However, it seems it is not the right time to go there at present. As you know the earthquake and tsunami have terrible effects on Japan. Besides, its nuclear problem is still available. I am worried about the nuclear pollution etc. I love China

Hi. remcot. Welcome to myLot! This has to be your choice alone. As for myself, I would never consider moving to Japan especially after the terrible earthquake that has erupted. I have a cousin that lived in Japan while this took place. She is now temporarily staying here in the hometown that she has been originally from. Which is where I am living at right now. She and her husband and two kids will be moving to Florida or Georgia in June. Her husband is still in Japan and he will be coming down here in June so that they all can relocate to another state. That is one of the reasons why my cousin moved from Japan. I have always been fascinated by foreign cities. If this is something that you would like to do, then this is your decision.

One of my dream countries to go to is Japan! I am an anime or manga fan and I want to visit Japan and learn it's culture. I really love the country because of it's natural scene and I want to explore the high technology applied cities there. I was very sad when a tsunami / earthquake hit Japan. It was like a minus in my expectations. Sooner in life though, I will go there and I will explore Japan. I'm looking forward to the cherry blossoms too.

my best friend's at Japan and we're both trying our best to raise money so that i can go there as well, but after all that has happened there i dont know if we'll still pursue on what we want. basically, of all countries we know of Japan in the most perfect for the both of us, the art, culture, environment, technology, and of course that fact that my best friend's a half japanese. as of now we're still thinking a substitute for our first plan. :)
