T.V., Internet Service Providers

We have and have had Time Warner Cable for a long time but this has happened 4 times all the internet, phone, television goes all the way out so we have to call them and go through technical support every time to get all the things working again, so the first time I called them they said it was an ongoing problem and made an appointment for someone to come out and see if the problem was outside and whatever i do don't cancel the appointment but they did since everything was running again, this is becoming annoying, What would you do? Would you switch service providers? I don't want to because it is a pain to go through all that.
