Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

Hi santos mari chris: Professionally I compare myself with the president of the Supreme Court of my country. He is a great source of inspiration for me. Personnaly I try not to compare myself with other persons because everyone is a single and unique person. I try just to be myself. ALVARO

I do never compare my self to anyone. As I believe that we are all created different and special.

Hi marichris! I think what you and your friends are doing were not really comparing instead, you are just sharing your interests and the stuffs and discoveries that you got. Which is kinda good since it will also strengthen your friendship especially if you do the activities like shopping and hanging out together. That's healthy as long as its not too much... With my self, as much as possible I don't like comparing myself to others coz usually it don't turn good. Yeah, sometimes it just makes me upset that and a bit envy. haha example, my neighbors, sometimes I saw them really happy with their family and then I will be comparing myself to then, and it will just makes me feel sad and ask why...coz I am far from my family and was not able to hang out with them as frequent as my neighbors and other friends do... so its not good for me. i remember one line from my favorite 'desiderata' which says... "If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself."
