The final episode of the Being Human (BBC)completely shocked me. I kept saying, they won't do it, they won't do it. But they did. Mitchell met his wolf-shaped bullet. I recently read an article where Toby Whithouse (creator) said that Aiden Turner asked to be written out of the show. While I guess that makes it understandable, it was heart breaking to see such a beloved character leave. Was anyone else hoping that it wasn't so?

I absolutely was hoping that wasn't the case. I LOVE Aidan Turner and Being Human will not be the same without him. I understand that he is going to be busy filming The Hobbit for 3 years. But I would have loved for him to come back.

The Hobbit? Wow! I didn't know that. That's really cool.

Richard Armitage is also involved, but will be doing other projects. Apparently Aidan wanted out before The Hobbit thing. He's got to come back somehow. I know that Herrick said a stake was the point of no return, but they've played with the rules so much, they can do this for the fans. I'd even take flash-backs if they could swing them.

Phaedra_Scythe: He's playing a dwarf. Don't know how he'll look, small, dark and hairy?

The show has always run on the chemistry of the three original characters, so it's weird to imagine how the show will continue without him! It's definitely a shame and I always feel so sorry for poor George!

I couldn't stand Herrick either. I don't see how they can replace Mitchell, but it is so unbalanced now. I almost don't want to watch anymore.. but even without Mitchell it is still so much better than the American Rip off they keep shoving down my throat.

The Annie/Mitchell storyline was lovely in theory, but was overshadowed by the Box Tunnel stuff. It didn't play out that well for me.

I agree. I would have loved to see it happen when there wasn't that heavy stuff for them to deal with...
