The struggling Deccan Chargers got a little reprieve today when they coast to an easy win over another struggling team Delhi Dare devils at Ferojshah Kotla ground, Delhi. Batting first after winning the toss, DC put on a good total of 168 for 4 in alloted 20 overs. Thanks to a solid performance from Sunny Sohal and his partnership of 92 runs with skipper Sangakkara. At the middle of the innings they were even in better position at 90 for one and poised for 180 plus score but better bowling performance from DD restricted the total to just 168. Sehwag disappointed again so did their other stalwarts except for Warner who scored 51 of 48 balls. The innings folded up at 152 for 7, DD winning the match by 16 runs.

Hi msdivkar, I watched the match from half of its parts. That is true that the sort of momentum Deccan Chargers got they could easily put 170 plus. But still 168 proved to be to huge for the Delhi Daredevils. This match was equally important for both the teams but finally it was the DC who had the last laugh. Whatsoever the games are getting interesting this times unlike the previous years.

The outcome of the games has become unpredictable this time. Winless Tuskers chased successfully 180 plus score against undefeated M.I.. KKR chased similar score against the might of CSK. All in all IPL is getting to interesting stage.

Yes that is true. Who thought Delhi Dare devils would be thrashed by DC today? This is interesting indeed.

I watched the match. Nice win for deccan chargers and it is always nice to beat the opposite team in their home ground. It definitely gives a boost to the chargers and I think from now on they will play the game with confidence. Delhi dare devils should learn from their mistakes particularly Sehwag who is not upto the mark. Best of luck Chargers.

Thank you singuri. Sehwag has to fire for DD to revamp itself. He is completely out of form at the moment. Their outstation players are also not doing any better. Lot was expected from Warner and Hopes also.

I think Delhi Daredevils are becoming the punching bags of this season. They have not really gelled as a team and are struggling. I think they lost some really key players and did not invest wisely to coup up the losses. Cheers! Ram

Actually Delhi couldn't play well. They must have progressed steadily. Deccan Chargers bowling wasn't such good that they couldn't propel up. Whatever, Deccan really bowled and fielded well and won the match. There were lots of stroke players in the Delhi team. But they could not make much impact. Sehwag must take more responsibility in such situation. He should have lead the chase with David Warner who lonely fought but couldn't get any other companion. Delhi are in lower position in the point table. They must have to play well in order to fight back.
