The Catholic Bishop's Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) launch the Visita Iglesia website which offers a virtual experience of Holy Week, especially the Filipino abroad and devout Catholics who are physically incapable of leaving their homes. Last year, this website already crashed when an unexpected 43,000 visitors logged on to it. To prevent the same from happening again, the CBCP already updated the website to accomodate the expected visitors which could be doubled from the last years' number. At present, it shows 14 historical shrines and pilgrimage churches in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. There are lots of features of this site like Cathechesis on Lent where we could watch videos of priest teaching us on various things, Seven Last Word, Pasyon, Liturgical Celebration, Cathechesis on Easter, and Homilies. To access this site, you can visit... www.visitaiglesia.net
