another error on mylot

i tried posting a discussion earlier tonight. and after clicking the start discussion button, i got to an error page. it read: another error 404. file missing in action. then after that, it would seem that the system types a complaint or whining. then in the end, it read: let the server sulk by going back to home?
i don't know it this is a joke. or just putting humor on an error page. it sure wouldn't be that humorous when you get to type the same discussion over again since you are just a newbie and you still could not copy-paste what you have been trying to type so hard.

Hi,
I have encountered such errors several times before. It is frustrating when you have typed a long response and submitted and the page shows error. This means your content gone.
Therefore I use Mozila Firefox. If such thing happens hit the back button your content is intact. The most interesting thing is even if your net connection gets cut still you wont lose them.

First time I noticed it I thought it's the sites problem.Maybe many members are on line and they can't accommodate us all but the next day they are back to normal.Just be patient or come back later and in no time before you know it it's ok again.

that's what i usually do - to wait, or to quit for the day.
i noticed that the problem happens around 7~10pm (phil time; GMT+8). probably, that's when most users log in, so there's heavy traffic.
too much traffic as the cause is my original theory. i've posted a discussion earlier regarding speed and loading problems in mylot. and i've got responses almost similar from some of the ones here.
anyway, i hope it gets fixed.

hi murkie thats a standard error page and bear with him as he is so funny and you will laugh if you forget about the damned money and start enjoying meeting all us fellow mylotters and having some fun so that you 
start making great posts and you are so surprised as you made a lot more money than you expected.mylot as you will find out is much more than just money making. we learn from each other ,we share and care and rant and ask each other for help; and cry on one other's shoulders and we are really social and really good friends for you so welcome. this will happen to anyone here so shrug it off and get more relaxed and make some friends here too. forget money for a little while. have fun. let your hair down,.

actually, i don't think too much about the money when i use mylot. of course, the pay somewhat interests me originally, but it's not a priority.
i think more of the discussions and responses in terms of quantity and quality. i just like the flow of ideas, and knowing that some people may or may not have the same idea as you have.
and yes, it is a social network. but i sure hope i wouldn't be too emotional when posting.
what is just annoying sometimes is when i encounter an error. imagine typing several sentences only to type them again due to some errors. i appreciate the humor, though. but i think it wouldn't be too humorous when it happens every so often.
anyway, thanks for sharing.

that was the first time for me, and it was annoying at first. then i got to see the humor in it, so by the day after, i got to tolerate it.
hopefully, i could copy and paste soon, so i wouldn't worry about having to type a response over and over again (if back doesn't work). =)

Good thing ive seen this! It always happen to me. I really thought that it was my browsers fault. Like the others have said, if it appears ill just hit the back button and you're ok. Sometimes it will auto repost your work so better check your discussion started and responses. If theres a duplicate report it immediately, dont let the other members to do it for you. You'll might get spanking from the moderators if you do so LOL!
