Easter is one of the most sacred season of the christian calendar year. Have we forgotten the reason for the season? Do we only care about the bun and Easter eggs when it come on to Easter time? Tell us what Easter truly men to you and how it is celebrated in your country? In all we do this Easter season it is important to put God first.

Easter is about celebrating Spring but Christianity hijacked it. Why should I put God first?

Yes, I think we have. It used to mean going to Easter service and celebrating that Christ has risen. These days it's about the easter baskets, easter outfits, and a huge dinner. Totally blown into a commercial holiday.

"Easter" from the word "Ostera" is a very important day on the Pagan calender, as it is the day of the Spring Equinox. In all we do in this life, it is important to remember history.

Unfortuately many people have, but it is not our fault, since many christain celebrations became commercial(of which the government and businesses gain profit from) true meanings of these celebrations are all but lost. All you need to do is ask any member of the public what is the first thing you think off when easter is mentioned it will likely be easter bunny or easter eggs not the true meaning. Same with the Christmas, presents and santa claus will be the first mentioned.

coughs* im guilty of that when I was a little kid up to about the age of 18 i had no clue what the real meaning of easter was. i know now that its about the resurrection of christ but before i just saw it as a day to collect eggs.

Forgotten? To me, Easter is even more important than Christmas. It is something that keeps me going through the difficult times of my life. The crucifixtion leads to the ressurection! So, if I can endure my personal crucifixtions, I will overcome and arise victorious and powerful and strong, just like Jesus did.
