Have you ever felt a virtual relationship? Can you trust it?

Social network makes you close with other world and connect you to some people that you dont recognize before. Sometimes you may in love with someone there that you might not know exactly. Can't deny, some people feel comfort with people that they meet in social network even it can't be trust at all. I ever felt virtual relationship when I was 17 yo with someone I known from MIRC chat within one year. In month beginning it taste sweet and like a fairytale, but after all, end up with tears. I trust in him and I though we trust each other, but finally I found he said he already had a girlfriend and just take me as friend to share, not more. It been long time ago and bring me hurt so bad, anyway, have you ever felt a virtual relationship? or you may trust that it may happen to someone and succeed?! As my experience, I dont believe it anymore!!

Yes. I have had my Shares of experiences related to meeting people online and making them part of your life, sometimes even. More than that, like a lover, an online boyfriend. What happened to me was that i was always chatting with him and i guess, being me, my logical side got of to think that almost a year, we are like long lost friends basically wasting time on each other. I told him this, and he got mad at me saying some bad things! Oh well, the rest is history!

chiyosan, it was story that happen when some people had a virtual relationship. we have to realize that it's not totally real & true before we meet up in real world. it's just wasting time before we go to far... I agree with you

well if you mean if i ever loved someone from social networks ...ets then no
but i have very good friends all around the world its very good and we trust each others and one of them maybe coming here when his vacation come so its going to be the first time i see him in person

hi killerbullet, that's great to have many good friend in social network. If really trust and understand each other, it could be a better relationship. That I mean in my post is that falling in love in someone in social network. It just happen after one hour chat. What a stupid me.... we started it very well, but end up with tear one year later. BUt I've already forgot that moment. I wont trust easily people that I've just known, so make sure it wont happen again. I wish you had a good luck with your social network friend and have fun with your vacation :-)
