It's official, the US Federal Government is now Upside Down...

There has been deficit spending for as long as there has been a United States of America. That are nothing new. What is new is deficit giveaway programs.
For the first time in our history, the government now gives out more money in cash programs than it takes in in taxes. In other words, the government has no net gain at all. The taxes the government collects can't even cover the handouts, much less the actual cost of running the country.
Obama now lies through his rotting teeth about how bad it is for the government to spend more than it takes in. But that communist wad of maggot vomit gives away more than is taken in!
Anyone who votes for Obama simply because of what he puts in your pocket can't claim to be an honest person. You are just as much on the take as any corrupt politician.

Hatley, I think Ted was referring to the upcoming election. And you have to admit, many of both Rs and Ds vote for people who promise them the most cash benefits, not the people who are best for the office. I don't think he meant to insult anyone.

Actually he didn't say a word about democrats. I reread his post to be sure. He very clearly said "Anyone who votes for Obama simply because of what he puts in your pocket can't claim to be an honest person. You are just as much on the take as any corrupt politician."
Now there are republicans, independents, and democrats who voted for him for any variety of reasons. Some did it because they hated Bush, some just wanted a black president, and some genuinely (and delusionally) thought he gave a crap about the constitution. The only ones he said are dishonest and similar to corrupt politicians are the ones who voted for him solely so he could line their pockets with other people's money.

If everyone in the US was taxed 100% of their earnings, We would not be able to even keep up with the interest on the money the Gov. owes. Guess what? It is now hopeless. We can not pay off our debt. We cannot keep up with the interest even with Hussein Obama's constant money printing and the world knows it. Sometime this year we will lose our standing as the country with the world currency. When that happens, we will instantly become a third world power. We will never be able to get out of debt. Every country in the world will take a piece of us.
We will be taken to task for every transgression we have ever made in every war. Our Generals will all end up in horrible prisons as will past presidents and various diginitaries. I can think of a few that deserve it. Countries that we have protected over the years will be overrun and destroyed. It will be a wonderful time don't you know.

I hope you are thinking they should take away from the oldsters that worked thier boody off and paid in to this account to have it took away.
I would hope that the companies that sent businesses over to other countries that are based here to bring thioer companjies back and get people back to work .
Not only the Gov. has messed us up but those companies going out of our country.
Also talking to my son this weekend has said if the big companies would pay thioer fair share of taxes we wouldnt be in this shape oh he talked to someone that said oh the big companies need that money to make more jobs and son asked ok where are the new jobs they are to create ,there are none. The feller could only sputter for there are no new jobs being created

A lot of talk on other subjects here, Lakota. What do you have to say about the actual topic?

ParaTed, Magnificent piece, beautifully written. Chock full of truth and wisdom.
Many thanks and many blessings to you.
Thanks a million for your insightful discussion and hopefully through your wisdom and knowledge some of these hammerheads will see beyond their greedy little noses and recognize their stupidity and complicity.

What gets me is the borrowing money so it can be given away in foreign aid. Isn't the whole point of foreign aid supposed to be "oh hey, you can't afford that, but we can, and we're nice people who care, so we'll help you out"? That ceases to make sense if you can't afford it and have to borrow it from others!

Exactly! We are no longer giving money away that would be used one way or the other... we are BORROWING money just to give it away.

what's the point of taxes if the country doesn't use them for something important? the problem is the way they use it, not that they are using it. I would be angry if the government was just taking money just to keep it..

Maybe you misunderstood the point. This means that the US government is giving people more money than it is taking in. That is on top of all the expenses of running the government that the tax money is supposed to be for.
What it means is, to too many people, taxation is profitable.

Isn't this what the Big Government proponents want? Everyone so dependent on them that we can't even think of doing anything on our own. This nation is one of haves and havenots and the haves are politicians - the ruling class. They'll keep on giving more than they're getting until we're all hooked into the system so tightly that we can't get out, then they'll tell us what we have to do to get a daily meal and everything else will be theirs. We will do what they want, too. Who wants to see their children or elderly parents starve?

It really is pathetic isn't it? There was a time when Americans would be ASHAMED to spend their lives sucking the government teet, but now you have people DEMANDING more "Obama-Money" like it's a right. I think the best example was that guy who responded to another thread saying he voted for Obama just to get $2000 of Obama-money for college. Now he's pissed that he isn't getting a $2000 handout. All these people want something for free and they don't give a crap what it does to the nation.
That's why every time some conservative talks about cutting off unemployment for slobs who haven't had a job in two years, said conservative is accused of wanting people to die in the streets. Somehow we all owe those people money because they had a job 2 years ago and want to get, for free, the same thing they used to work for.

Yep...and then Obama goes and GIVES $2 BILLION dollars to Brazil for them to use to drill oil down there where it is less than a dollar a gallon! He had no right to do that and that money could have gone to so many things here in this country. At this point, I don't hardly care who replaces him....so long as someone does! I'd vote for Mickey Mouse if it'd rid us of Obama.
