So we finally got to watch Number 7 last night. We have all read the books and I read them all to my youngest. That did not at all stop them from balling at the end of the movie. Poor Dobby's death was not shown in a gory way or anything but my kids so got the point of what a loss a faithful friend can be. It took us quite a while to get the little one to stop crying. She just kept saying 'but it's so sad he lost his Dobby". We have dealt with death with the kids (Great grandparents, our own baby) they understand what happened. I m glad to see they have empathy even for a house elf.
