When I first joined my husband's family after marriage, I learned that they have a tradition during Holy Week of heading a "Pabasa" or the reading of the passion of Christ in a singing pattern, most Filipinos would know what I mean. They done that for several years until my in-laws are becoming weaker so they have to stopped doing it. This year, since my youngest is a very good reader now, they started to introduced it to them. They proudly finished reading the book with 213 pages and I think they feel good about it. Maybe, when they become a little older, we could start the tradition again. Have a Blessed Holy Week to all Mylotters!

I have heard the "Pabasa" before but I have no idea that it could actually reach 213 pages! And for your youngest to do that, it's just amazing! Glad to hear that there are a lot of religious people here in myLot! God bless!
