This morning, someone who borrow my books and I just let her. If it is in your side, do you like someone who will borrow your things and let them bring in their house. Lately, even my shoes, T-shirts, guitars, cellphones is been borrowed by my friends and relatives because I'm too kind. Do you like if someone will borrow your things? Do you let them and why?

Well, it depends on what the item to be borrowed is, I suppose. The most common thing I lend to others are books. And there was one time I lent my guitar to a cousin while she took lessons in school. The only request I make is that they take care of the item and, as much as possible, return it to me in the same condition that they borrowed it. But for more personal items like shoes, clothes, and even celphones, I don't think I'll lend those to others. =P

hmmm maybe you are right, it's not good to lend those personal use to others because it's not a good example to the lives of the people

honestly, i personally don't like someone to borrow my things, i care for my things especially if that thing is only given unto me.... since most of them are careless and if ever lucky for them to bring it back the things that they borrow unto me - my things are now turn-apart some of the areas and looks like dirty.....

Dear friend, I hope to be much kind in other maters that I feel do put me into mess. Still at times due some kindness we do give, but I give other according to the person I feel if he returns back, still at times they promise to return back but never do so. In that case next time I will make sure not to give to those who do not return back.

It's difficult, especially in the current economy, to have all the material goods that one needs. I always try to be helpful when others ask me to lend items and my friends and family have also been very nice about letting me lend things. Last fall, my cousin had to go to a wedding so I lent her a pearl necklace that my grandmother gave me. She returned it very quickly and even treated me to lunch. I think family and friends are more important than material goods and even if they are untruth-worthy, I don't lose much except one piece of item.

i don't mind loaning things as long as they bring it back. But i know people who thinks to borrow is to keep it. My step-sister is good about so called borrwing and not returning. I was so mad I loaned my ex-boyfriend's son my Creed CD and I never got it back. I loaned my soon to be old neighbor a converter box so far never got it back now she has cable.

Yes, as long as they ask for permission and they will return it soon. Also it depends on their reason why they are borrowing things, for what purpose. If it will be a great help for them why not.
