In the only Twenty 20 match between WI and Pakistan, WI beat Pakistan by 7 runs. None other than Umar Akmal managed to score more than 30 runs. Pakistan should have batted well. But WI denied them. Batting first WI managed to score a sporty 150 runs in 20 overs. Openner L. Simmons and D. Bravo lead them with a partnership of 99 runs. Others were not so impressive but Rampaul and Bishoo took three and four wickets each to guide WI an impressive win.

I think this was good win for West Indies. Especially because it was achieved without any of the biggies in the team. I also liked the fact that Bishoo bowled really well to take his 4 wickets. The only thing that West Indies really need to address is the role of Sammy in the team. I do not think they can continue with a non-contributing captain for long. Cheers! Ram
