How do you think about gender relations in your country ...?

Actually gender relations today is pretty interesting. You ever heard of affirmative action, its application for an extreme feminist groups are considered contrary to the spirit of equality between women and men. But there's one thing to remember, that is the position of women and men are part of history, which involves the construction of cultural meaning. What do you think ..?

Protecting the rights of the oppressed never goes against equality. Claiming such is a way for the privileged to still try to maintain the privilege they enjoy. Women have already been abused too much throughout history and now even if little efforts are made to cope up with the loss, it has little to no power to counter the existing system and thus, no way can they be a threat to gender equality.
