About ten years ago I was looking at a book review and I really liked it. Although I had difficulty finding a copy of it. Then last week I looked into the possibility of getting it. Amazingly I found it on the Internet and ordered a copy. Today the postman delivered it. It is called "An Odd Odyssey" and it is written by Glen David Short. It is about the man's journey from California to Colombia by bus and boat. The man I found out is Australian. Have you ever wanted to buy a particular book but had difficulty finding it? Did you want to read a book and then got it years later? Do you like reading about exciting journeys?

Yes, but not too often, more often I remember reading a book as a child and want to re-read it but can't find it.

Don't really seem to have that problem myself. I can usually find most of the books I'm looking for in the bookstore... if they don't have it then I can go to the front desk and ask them to order it. If that's not possible, then I buy online. I don't really like online book-buying. It really defeats the purpose for me. lol I love to read. I typically read high-fantasy novels though. Don't do a whole lot of realistic fiction/non-fiction.

Yes always books are a nice companion and having them is a pleasure in itself. The very idea of reading about someone experiences and journeys gives a lot whole different meaning and perspective to oneself. i have had the opportunity of reading some of the famous books and they have stood the test of the time and book reading is some thing that i have always wanted to be a part of where ever i am.

There's a book called The Book Thief that I read 2 years ago and I wanted to buy it. But at the time, our local bookstores had no copies at hand. Finally, it was available one year later. I have not come across many books about journeys, but there is one book, that is sort of an adventure book. It's called Life of Pi, about a boy stranded in a boat with a Bengal tiger. It's very interesting and has a good moral of the story. :)
