Do you think there will be a new Indian Team which is heading out to WI?

As the news says that all senior players are requested for a long leave for their personal reasons and if the BCCI agrees then there will be a new team heading out to the West Indies to play ODIs and Tests. But without senior players its difficult to win the games no matter whether it is test or one day. Because youngsters are fed up with the T20 format and for them its difficult to play 50 overs and more. What do you say friend? what is your opinion?

Dint see any news of senior players requesting a long leave. But then they've been playing continuously without any rest for quite some time now. Moreover for the next world cup, we cannot expect the likes of Sachin in the team. Also Dravid, Laxman might head for retirement in the next 4 years or so. India's spearhead and the most consistent pace bowler Zaheer is already 32. Its time to test the younger players on an international platform. Long term planning is necessary for what is gonna be a big void in the indian cricket team. All the younger players might be a bad idea though for you've got lots to learn from the experienced ones. May be if the younger players are made to play on a rotational basis alongside the greats of Sachin, Laxman and Dravid that would be a great learning for them

I have not heard something like this but even if this happens we need not worry as we have got some good young players and its gone be good opportunity for them and however if this happens I don't think player's like dravid and laxman will take their name off from the test team they will be there in the middle order which is very crucial. In one day there are many players to grad the place having seen the performance in IPL we should be happy that we have good players which if we groom can be as good as any international player.

Hi Dear Lou_is! I have not seen the news about this issue! If all the senior players are going on the leave, then we must have our team with new faces in it. I think though it will be a big risk to have all new faces in the team, but then it can be experimented as we may have some new stars emerging out during this series like the one we had in IPL - 'Paul Valthaty'! We have got fantastic players in India who can be tomorrows heroes and evolution is part of the life and we need to have fresh blood in the team and while the old players are playing the game for the country these players can always be kept as a reserve force! Let us see what will happen! Will BCCI permit the long leave for all the seniors at a time? If this is the scenario then who are the players they are thinking to incorporate in the team? There are many questions which needed to be replied to form the answer in the form of the solution to this issue! Thanks for the discussion!
