Everyone has a Computer at home right now, and almost everyone is like staying at least an hour in front of computer. Chatting, Online games, Online Job, Simply Surfing and etc.
Just a quick question, would you stay and use your computer for an hour without internet? what would you do if you don't have access on internet, like it's down or you haven't paid the bills yet? do you have any other things to do without using your internet connection?
As of for me, I don't know, even though I'm gonna watch movie (Not using the net) I can't get comfy if I know I don't have internet. hahaha! It is a must have for me, I feel like I'm totally lifeless without it. ergh!
so what about you fellow myloters? :)

When the connection is lost, I usually type my poems or some articles for uploading to Wikinut where I post them.

That is a great way to kill your time if your connection is up. I wish I could write things too, but my grammar is poor and I am no good in english, so instead of poem, sometimes I write lyrics-like things. :)

I've checked your Wikinut. Your site looks interesting. It's a good thing you can make yourself productive even without the internet connection.

Without internet connection i would spend a lot less time online. I would probably use my computer for school work and maybe typing from time to time. I am not a big gamer but i might play a game here and there. I think this is a great question and i think many people take the internet for granted and wouldn't think about this.

Yes, many other things can be done without using the internet, like what you said, if you're using lappy, then you may bring it at school, or you can type something like preparing your blog while your connection is down. :) Most of us are doing their jobs online, so it'll hurt them if they don't have access to the internet. :)

yes you are right thet lappy is the option to do work anywhere but if there is no internet, the computer or other options to do online work is nothing .today everything is connected to internet in offices too so the internet is very important.

I have got a laptop which I use at home using broadband. When I am out and about I like to use my net book. It is small and lightweight. I can use mobile Internet on it. I bought my first computer through the half price computer for teachers deal. I slowly learned how to use it and that was around twelve years ago. Four years ago I bought my laptop and by that time I was very keen on using the Internet. I like to go onto interesting sites like My Lot. I find it very challenging when the Internet is down. When I moved it took 21 working days to get my Internet account moved and set up in my new home. So I decided to go for a mobile internet stick.

Yes, If I don't have access in the internet I usually turn off my computer and wait until I have access, I really feel bored without it because I don't enjoy , I cant see all the transactions I made without it I cant live. ha ha funny right?, so, that's how the internet affects my life.

Hi tyronie!!! Dude! Life is boring without the Internet. I feel attached to my laptop just to use the internet. If there's no internet, I won't use my laptop at all. Almost everything that I run is connected to the internet. I've even made a home network in our house. If there's no internet, I'd rather sleep and let the day pass. I just hope there is internet when I wake up.

Yes, I would rather do the same, either sleep or going out hoping that when I return or wake up my connection is up, but it is very frustrating if ever it is still down and that pisses me off. hahah! I don't know what to do. lol ^_^

computer w/ games yeah i can stay at least an hour but w/ internet? i can stay for the rest of my life.. LOl.. With internet even when you are at home you feel like you're somewhere else, agree? you can watch, you can chat, social networking sites, games online, almost anything you can do...
oh theres an exception to this, your net first should be 1mbps or higher(much better) if not? nahh forget it!! :p

I don't know if there is anything that I would do on my computer if I didn't have any internet access. That is pretty much what I use my computer for anyway. lol. I guess I would play computer games to pass the time or maybe watch some of the stuff that I downloaded from the Internet on my computer. But other than that I would do non computer stuff like read a book or go outside.

During the time that we don't have internet yet, i only stay in my computer to play games, after that no more. But now, i think i cannot pass a day without using the internet. Checking social networks, my email, youtube and ofcourse communicating with my siblings, relatives and friends abroad. Internet makes my life exciting :)

We are almost the same. haha! before I use computer just to play games, now even I have lots of games on my computer, I feel bored if I don't have access to the sites I usually go. :)

if i don't have any internet connection i don't see much use for our computer here at home.. i don't think i can spend even 30 minutes with my computer without the internet.. :)

Without internet,I lost an important way to connect with my friends.What a pity it is. I think the computer without internet is just a tool to talk with myself.It is not convenient.

yes the computer is very im[portant in life but without internet it is use less at home because internet provides many entertaining facilities like social network sites searching etc.. so computer is helpful to do the work fast in office mainly but in home without internet it is useless..

Internet is the source of all informations that we could keep in our computer for personal/future reference. We should also consider that not all the time we have internet connection or in good connectivity. It would be better to make some alterneative preparations like saving some music videos, some simple programs or educational items. During offline we can also expand our skills on microsoft application softwares. There's a lot things to do online and offline.
