Should I host the next Mylot Conference?

Hello Lotters,
Construction is 
almost done. though it needs some adjustments because there's some structures that needed to be done like the stairs and grills.
If it get's done. we might as well have all the gatherings, dinners or any other happenings done on the second floor, which is a lot more accommodating because of the wind.unfortunately, since we are the area with the Electric post, tendecy is that in the 2nd flr were near with the cables and electric wires just about two meters
.
Besides, My location is just too damn far away that only two to three people can actually attend if they have the time..probably just simple dinner and that some talks here and there. but i hate programs, specially with the CLOWN thing
(this isn't children's party you know)
I AM STILL THINKING ABOUT IT THOUGH, so don't put my word on it!
besides, we need to have an ROI first...

This is something. But... are you friends for real with some mylotters? coz i am not lol. ( do you have a facebook? thats a start, i could get to know and see you lol) But then, i am not into the idea of really meeting everyone for real because i will loose my me being anonymous here! hahaha

We already have some members who have joined the mylot group already in facebook. besides, my friend myles will be in davao soon so you might wanna get in touch with her there. as for us, we can actually try the skype conference so that we can all talked here. i know US and UK/European lotters have done this already

hello LK,
The First Mylot Conference was successful after that event we become close together with others as you know i met Myles 3 times after that, 2 times with Rberon just leave jaiho since we see each other most of the time, neildc leaving at Cebu too far to meet him again maybe in the near future and pogi rarely see him here now.
I encourage you to Host that don't worry i am just here along with Jaiho i would suggest we need proper preparations about this so many members will come

i've met neildc and his family only once after the conference because they left for cebu already. perhaps we can plan to go to cebu before we go to davao... what do you think bhabycatch? hehe

I think Pogi has his path to follow, i didn't think he was interested meeting us from the start. i notice he was more conscious with the time and what would happen if his wife finds out. i haven't talk to neildc in a while now since that conference, some chats hre and there but...

lk, i've been to ilocos of the north and sulu of the south... you are just in cavite, the next province from mine (batangas)... it's not impossible to visit you there. hehe just need ample preparation like proper scheduling (so that more people will be available) and confirmation of attendees. food and drinks can be the least of the worries coz it's easy to buy take-outs or bring potlucks.

of course... you have to sort things out on your end first before start planning for the next conference. a local caterer can be good too especially if they are renting your commercial space. good business for them is good business for you too. that's a win-win. hehe

We do have a cater here as one of the renters, but i guess you gals are more expert on this one. potlucks are good too. but it's better to have the place gets completed first before we started planning for the next conference. besides, i don't want my mom to get pissed with some mess still lying around and me started inviting you guys1 person likes this

each other, hang out, bonding and have FUN! talk something that is beyond the parameters of the discussion what so ever. believe me, i wasn't that much of a talker when the first conference happened but i enjoyed their very funny company i have some lotters that are my friends for real but haven't seen them since the conference i chat them in other social sites.

and i want to enjoy my vacation before getting another stressful job (uh uh)
let's give it a try this MAY...
plan..plan..plan...i had my car checked to be ready for that long journey pleaseee...
and i have to do it myself you know...to save labor fees (can you imagine me changing oil? hahaha)
and save that money for our "conference"

I am so very happy when I saw and read through the links... Now I know what makes you so special...
I read it on one of my disussions where you mentioned the "Conference" and I presumed it was something related to the MyLot HQ and was organized from their end (I have known a few websites do that) But today, how silly of me to think on those lines...
I must say that we dont have any such kind of thing here
and I dont think many will appreciate that idea here(at my place)... really a pity but forget that, the discussion has made me more close to you and guess what, you really look quite good and similar to what I had thought/pictured you in my thoughts...
I wish this continues and we keep the friendship alive... Maybe sometime when I get healthier and wealthier, I would join you sometime in that conference... It will be really exciting seeing the great lotter friends in person
(darn they wont permit me to use more emoticons...but I will find another way...)

It sounds like you have the perfect place to do it. I just wish I could attend! I read about the last one you had and I felt so envious! I’ve seen the photos and it looked like a lot of fun. Perhaps you should seriously consider the job of host at the next one. I am certain you would do a great job and it would be some event!

Well, Neildc did plan for a skype conference but there's been no word about him for days. the last time it wasn't my plan but rberon's but it was nice and cozy because it was their treat and it was really good. that's probbaly just a time to think about it though but who knows, for now it's just something i've been thinking about.have a niceday

Having become an expert at enjoying virtual relationships just as one would a real one in fact perhaps better, why don't you organise a virtual conference which I can assure you will be packed to capacity. Now this ROI thing (Return on Investment?) I dont need to do that because I have earned enough and more in this beautiful virtual world called myLot!

I remember you and rberon speaking of the one last year and from planning experience myself it is a lot of work. So maybe I can recommend to team up with him and or someone to help out so that the load of work that goes into it gets equally delegated.

There's a few people from Cebu whom are actually active mylotters. There's even one mylotter who even tried to organize all the people of cebu who use mylot but failed. Fortunately, there's some one from Cebu whom we have actually met back in December 2010 last year. You guys have to organize. Have a nice day.

Oh, that would be fun! I didn't know you guys had previously done this! A few other sites I have been a part of have tried to do things like this. I've only met one girl that I was friends with online. I knew her on one website and she worked at a theme park around me, so I went one day and met her. I'm still friends with her on facebook and I've seen her around town a few times.
It's always fun getting to actually meet someone!
