How Avoid Temptations in eating too much?

These are only few Tips that you can do to Avoid eating too much. It does mean that you will not eat foods you really like. For some instance you must avoid them, for some personal reasons.. 1. You should never go food shopping when you're not really hungry. 2. Always write a list to buy and avoid buying things you know you won't able to resist to eat. 3. Before meal time drink water so that you will feel full stomach. 4. During meal don't put serving bowls on the table, because you know you can't help your self to eat and eat. 5. As much as possible keep away from you the foods on the table that you really loves to eat, you must not reach it by stretch of your hands.

it has always been a struggle to me to be able to resist the temptation of eating foods.. i am trying to stick on a more healthy diet but i always have that urge to eat "sinful" foods.. hope your tips will work! LOL

I lost over 40lbs after by 2nd child. I mainly cooked veggie meals. I find that it helps when I get up at 5am to work out for 2hrs before work. I find my self thinking about how hard my workout was, and do I want to get up that early for nothing? I don't think so. Drinking water before each meal never worked for me. I give in to my temptations from time to time. You don't have to count calories, or make your life revolve around food. Losing weight is a process that takes time, you can eat as much clean food you want. Fruits, Veggies, Lean Protein is the way to go, but choose fruit with low sugar content. I also noticed the more lean protein I eat the less I feel the need to eat everything. I hope this helps!

Maybe it depends on your body on how to deal with it, drinking water before meal some are effective to them. Maybe there is a scientific reason for this case. Thanks for adding some information, many of them can read these post and they will really practice it by their own self.

I think the best remedy in that particular habit is discipline. If you have to discipline yourself you can control that habit...

Nobody should likes something is not healthy. There are really delicious yet healthy foods you can eat. And when you're trying to lose weight, you should reduce the amounts you're eating, so you're right, but eating really well and variated is important too. Eating well and healthy makes you less hungry and then you can reduce the portions you eat. Is not good tell somebody shouldn't eat some food, is tell they can eay anything they want only if is healthy and one portion of food is enough. To me, the best way to avoid eating too much is by drinking a full glass of water before and during eating. The water helps you being full faster and also, everyone knows the water is really good. Those are some tips I add.

I think what shopping can really influence of gaining weight. The more little things to buy and the more useful and agreement calories more quickly will result.However, we depend on what and how much you eat.
