That idea seemed a lot better in my head.

I think that at least a quarter of the time when I write well anything, the idea does sound much better in my head, then it does actually written out in practice. I think most writers tend to have these moment, where they realize when their brilliant idea that they had in their mind, really is not that brilliant when it actually is written out on paper. Of course most of the time, it does need some tweaking. Sometimes a little bit of tweaking and there are many times where it needs a lot of tweaking. That just proves that you don't know if something with flow well or not flow well, until you write it out.

Personally I prefer writing the old fashioned way with pen and paper. It may require a bit more work (editing etc) but it's got more of a creative feel to it for me. It feels more personal that way. But the computer is definitely more efficient if you're writing something that's going to be published or posted online!

I can see why someone would want to write things out on paper. Really, it does seem a bit more personal but by hand writing has always been abhorrent even when I wrote on a regular basis. These days, I do ninety five percent of all of my writing on the computer. When I look at my old school notes written by hand and other things, it is just awful. Still, I can really see why many people would prefer that way of writing. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I always write my first drafts on paper. Then my second draft on the computer is a complete rewrite by necessity. If I write the first draft on the computer, I tend to avoid doing any major edits, no matter how badly they are needed.

For the writers, when their hand hold a pen. Look like it has a soul or own mind, the pen suck their idea. The pen won't stop until it suck all of it.

Very well stated, the pen is in fact the tool to get those ideas. Or the keyboard as the case would be these days, but the same point does stand. Granted, there are going to be many times where we are going to scratch out, back space, and return, until the idea is going to really get out of our head for the way that we want it to. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

That what happen to me when I hold a pen or in front on my PC. Or write a comment in here. I get easy to answer rather then making a questions.

Ideas often do sound a lot better in the planning stages. It is not actually until we do them, that it is not really that good. However, you never really know unless you take the plunge. There are a lot of ideas that do have potential even if they do not work out right away. Therefore, there are a lot of projects that start and its a while before they really form into something more solid. So yeah, not everything is going to work out. It is going to really be a tedious situation to make it work. Sometimes you can make something work, with some work, sometimes a little work and sometimes a lot of work. And other times, it really is something that you just need to give up on. I hate doing this, but I do feel like I have to do this. Back to square one. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
