What would you do when a family relative dies and you're thousand miles away?

I just heard that my cousin passed away. I was not very close with her but she was good to my father who also passed away over a year ago. When my father passed away, I flew as fast as I could to be there in time for the funeral. I feel sad that my cousin passed away. She died of ovarian cancer...I heard it from another cousin on Facebook. Thank goodness for FB...it made communication a lot easier from people who are far away from me.
What would you do if a family or relative of yours passed away and you can't be there to join the sadness of the family?

I understand how you feel. I felt the same thing too when my uncle passed away 2 months ago. It was really hard that we can't see them for the last moment. Prayer is the most powerful tool that we can give to them, praying their souls and the rest of the family. But if something happens with my family, I will surely fly back home no matter what, no matter how far, no matter how much it cost to me.

Sometimes we have to accept the fact that we cannot be where we want to be. We have to know that we loved them in life as best we could and that is what is the most important thing. They are gone to the world beyond and no longer care what is here. Only we care about the here and now, so we are the ones who have to deal with the grief. Play some music that will help you and pray to the one you believe in for comfort.

One of beloved uncle passed away two years before. I didn't cry because I was all alone at home when i hear the news by telephone. But I found it difficult to tell to my hubby when he came home. I brust into tears. As I couldn't go for the fueneral I did fasting for the shake of praying for him.
