I just read an article about how american women have more degrees than men! It was about how gender roles are changing, and how there is a steady decline in stay at home moms. More women are working and bringing in the income. There is a steady incline of fathers are staying at home with their children. Women are increasingly earning more, but they still earn less than men on average.
What roles do women and men play in your country? What do you think about the gender roles changing and about women being the primary breadwinner of houses? What roles do you think women and men will play in the future?

I just watch it in the news today. Its father's day and according to the survey there are more men who prefer to stay at home and take care of the kids if there's enough of income coming in.I think women of today are competitive and sometimes doing better than men in the work force. Some women have even preference of career than family life that they tend to settle down in a more mature age.

Feminist love the idea of making their own money and not having to ask men for money. Old fashioned men would hate the idea of their woman making more money than him and having a career. I live in the US. And not only that, less men are going to college nowadays, not so sure if the article I read was right, but I guess we(women are everywhere) Even though I like to make my own money and have a career, I don't like the idea of men staying at home taking care of the house and the kids.

Women are earning more money than they used to. There are so many women executives now and it looks as if there will be more in the future considering with more women are attending University than men.
I can't get used to the idea of stay at home Dads...maybe because I was a stay at home Mom. I don't think a man can do as good a job at home as a woman can...sorry guys :)
