Oh my God I do not want to go to work tomorrow

I've been off for three days and I do not want to go back to work tomorrow. I am just really sick of the grind. I work because I have to not because I want to. I wish I could call out sick but I can't. I don't have vacation until August. Good lord I'm trying to hang on before I go crazy. My ultimate goal is to work from home but I'm not making enough money to do that yet. I can't wait until I can do that but for now I have to keep on. If you didn't have to work what would you be doing instead?

Oh how I can relate with this one. There are many times that I feel this way about the job I work at, but know that due to I need the Medical and the pay check this leaves me really no choice. My goal also in time is to be able to work from home and pretty much be my Own boss with my own business, but until that day comes I have to head off to my JOB. Just wish there was an easier way.

I can really relate to being burnt out. I think that sometimes long weekends or vacations makes it worse..LOL. I know when I have time off, it takes me a week or two to get back in the swing of things. If I didn't have to work, I would wake up when I wanted..maybe do some oilpainting. I would write alot too. ALOT. I would hike and try things I had never tried before. There are a ton of hobbies I would like to try but never seem to have the time for the ones I know I love. I am really enjoying the fact that I have went back to school so if I didn't need to work, I would have time to take more classes too. I can think of a ton of things I would love to do if I didn't have to work and had the means to do them.

There are certainly moments when the simple thought of waking up early and going to work is enough to make me feel unhappy, but there's nothing I can do for the moment, what I earn online is just a bonus,it wouldn't be enough to allow me to have a decent life.Anyway,if I didn't have to work I would probably travel all over the world and I would try to make my life as pleasant as possible, and I would try to help others,so I wouldn't get bored anyway.

My work is travel but I don't always get to enjoy going to different places because I don't have time. Even when I am off I can take advantage of free travel but I can't really go anywhere with only having three days off to go anyplace.

So sorry I wish you could find a way to work at home. It can sometimes be awful it you have bad coworkers or bad boss that makes it so much worse.

My coworkers are fine I get along with all of them. I hardly even see my manager. I could go months without actually seeing her. It's the company's policies and general management that makes it unbearable at times.

This happened to me way back when I was working at a company. I dreaded Mondays because It will be the start of a very difficult week again. Actually its not the job that I hate, its my boss. Yeah, my boss is very hard to please. Sometimes we don't know what to do anymore. I decided to quit and here I am now, eventhough struggling to make my small business work, atleast I have some peace of mind

It's normal to be tired of doing the same thing every day. Unfortunately that's just a fact of life. Last year I was unemployed and living way out of town. I was studying full time and was only receiving study allowance, which barely even paid for my bills. I looked for work everywhere, even up to an hour away from where I lived and couldn't get anything. I thought back to the job that I had quit and thought how lucky I was to have a stable job. It was all I could think about. When I decided to move back to the city and asked for my old job back, you can imagine how grateful I was when they said yes. So even now I have days when I think 'I don't want to go to work, I have so much other stuff to do', but I just think back to when I was unemployed- that was MUCH worse.

I feel you. I, too, wake up every morning dreading having to go to work. I've been waiting for ages for a new, more challenging, more paying job, but can't seem to find the luck. So, even if it's excruciating on my part, I have to report to this job. I usually call in sick (I actually usually get sick - stress does weird things to me). An ideal work for me is one with lots of opportunities to travel, meet lots of different people - cultures, languages, backgrounds and all. And, ultimately, if I didn't have to work, I'd like to travel the world over, and maybe do some missionary and charitable work.

I had a job like that where I had to sit in my car and pray every day to help me make it through to day it was horrible. Actually the job I have now is not that bad it's the company I hate and I'm just sick of the grind and commuting. I just rather be home now more than anything.

That is exactly how I feel every time it's Sunday. Monday is just around the corner and it means it's time for work again. It's really an effort to get yourself off to bed. In fact, I've overslept today and to my horror I was running late. I think that was the fastest shower I have ever taken in my life. I was out of the house in 15 minutes. If I wouldn't be working, I would be a stay-at-home mom, which is actually my dream. I just want to stay home and raise my kids. Unfortunately, our finances doesn't permit us to do that right now. So there isn't much to do, but work, work ,work. I am fortunate though to handle a process that it is not at all strenuous or stressful. I usually am done with my work in just an hour which leaves me to about 7 hours free time at work which I usually spend here at Mylot. I just wish you can and Glorya can find a better job soon.

Hi my friend, I can not think in this case, I just feel sorry for you. You do not need to be sad, I had a silly idea. you try to work to get tens of thousands of dollars, then go to our country, then you do not have to work again for the rest of your life. Or if you have any idea, can make a supermarket here, deposit, or whatever you want. lol
