It has been reported that the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) on several different occasions that the EPA has shut different economic endeavors costing Americans jobs and economic growth. There was the fish that caused the EPA to shut off the water to central California causing the loss of a crop and many people out of work and several that may have lost everything because they could not get water to water their crops.
When the BP oil spill occurred the Federal Plan called for the oil to be burned, but the EPA stopped this because the smoke might blow inland and might cause a lessening of air quality. The oil spill got worse and spread.
When the Governor of a state asked for permission to place floating booms to protect the swamps and inland water ways he was told that the EPA would study the situation delaying the deployment of the booms.
Now when we need the oil the EPA told Shell Oil that after spending billions to bring in an oil field in Alaska they have to stop because the emissions from the field might effect the air quality of the only village in the area (70 miles away).

Today it was reported that the EPA is moving to stop all oil production in the Permian Basin of West Texas because of lizard that the EPA wants to put on the endangered list. This is a very productive area of domestic oil.
It seems to me that the EPA is more concerned about making rules to protect against what they think might happen. We have created an Agency that is trying to make the world a better place by removing man from the environment.

The EPA has outlived it's usefulness and should be defunded and disbanded immediately.
It has become an enemy of our economy and entirely too powerful for our own good.
I say get rid of it.

Get rid of - no. Improve, change, regulate, monitor - always.
