I'll just name a few:Full Metal Alchemist(and brotherhood), Toradora,Angels Beats, Toaru Majutsu no Index I+II, Kodomo no Jikan, Inukami, Otome Yukai Zakuro, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, True Tears, Shuffle1,Zero no Tsukaima (all three), and some others. So what were your thoughts on these and what else would you recommend. Genres like drama, harem, romance, and action would be appreciated. Please don't list ones like Bleach or Naruto, those are too overrated.

It looks pretty good, but the problem is that it's not finished. I mostly watch the ones that are finished because once you get to the newest episode, then you get pissed off and have to wait a week for the next episode to come out. Thanks for the recommendation.

I already watched the latest episode of fairy tail and i follow the manga every week. interesting and fun anime, however its really frustrating to wait every week for that. one of the best mainstream manga for me.

I watched lately Zero no Tsukaima. Im now at season 3. I love it. I prefer to watch romance anime sometimes with comedy and drama.

I would say some of the best are Fusigi Yuugi, Samuri 7. Saint Seiya: lostcanvas is okay and petite cosette is probably the worst. I turned it off after a few minutes.

(I love Angel Beats! Have you seen Key's othe works, like AIR, Clannad and Kanon?) Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Outlaw Star. Those are some major classics. Cowboy Bebop, in my opinion, is literally flawless. I like animes that center more around a plot than the characters, or the characters complement the plot; that kind of thing. These three animes provide that. I actually dislike harem animes, ha ha! However, I am watching the 2011 'Bridge to the Starry Skies' and it is a harem. It's sort of cliche, but at the same time it's still lighthearted and rather nice. I think that it's on episode 4 or 5 right now. Also, have you heard of Deadman Wonderland? It's also coming out every week, and I think episode 4 comes out tomorrow. I am so in love with this anime! It's been absolutely flawless so far. Albeit, only 3 episodes are out, however those three episodes are totally mind blowing. Hope this helped! :)

I got HunterXhunter, Trigun, Hajime no Ippo, Prince of Tennis and Samurai 7 in my collection. I never got tired of watching those anime over and over again. If you're into harem, you might want to check Love Hina, which is quite ok. I was actually quite surprised also that I enjoyed watching K-On! (and K-On!!). I also recommend Claymore, although I haven't watched the anime but I've read the manga version and it's really good.

Well if you like harem maybe you should try Sekirei it has some action and it's the typical main guy surrounded by beatiful girls. I really liked the anime 07-ghost is mostly based in friendship, the anime ended with an open ending (the manga is still publishing) don't know if you will like it, but if you have time try and see if it suits you. Romance you should try Key's visual novels anime adaptations (Kanon, Air, Clannad, Clannad ~After Story~), not as good as the visual novel itself but it's worth a try.
