I am a spender, but I usually buy things for my family and rarely for myself. I don't really care if the object is expensive as long as the qualityt is good and my family is content withit. But now,it's very hard to earn money, and i cannot spend easily anymore.. Now I am practicing being thrifty and thinking first if we really need that product or not, so we can save money. Are you doing the same?

So, your one of those thrifty kind of person. I just hope I can be like you because there are times that I can not really resist spending especially if have money. An impulsive buyer just to feel sorry in the end because I realized that I don't really needed the thing I have bought.

Yes, it's a good idea or bring just enough so that I won't be tempted to spend. Bringing someone along is good too so that he or she can stop me if ever the bug bit me again.

Nope! I am not a spender. People always think that I am rich because i always have a money in my wallet but actually i am not. I am just thrifty, actually I don't still have work right now. I am just spending my allowance wisely. Before I buy something I am going to categorized it first if it is a want or a need. By doing it I could decide if i have to spend or not to spend my money.

We have planned our finances well and I believe that money is for spending as long as one does not dig into one's capital.

I understand what you mean. Money is for spending and as long as your spending it wisely that will be okay. We should learn to live within our means.

yes, we do that now, because we have to send our child to Medical school for 5 more years.
We now buy wisely and we evaluate the need to buy some things. But when we buy , we buy those quality ones because we know that we could use them for a long time. Then, we also consider the amount and divide it for our calculated years of its service. That way, we know we bought a value for money.

yes, you really have to save since medical school is so expensive and it take s along time to finish.
Yes, I agree- it is not wise to buy something cheap if we are sacrificing it's quality.
Good luck

I have never been a big spender. I have always been a big saver, and the more I save, the more I don't like spending at all. But I do sometimes buy expensive things impulsively which is not good! Right now, I am saving because I don't have any savings after my last splurge, so I am starting over again. This time, I am doing it different and putting money away for retirement so I won't have to worry later on.

My wife is like you too- she is the main reason why we have lots of savings still.
Yes, you really have to be ready when you retire- you just need to put your money somewhere it's hard to get so you won't be tempted to spend it again.
