Making the First Circle Work

Many times in MLM, when people are presenting the business to others, they will start with a simple circle, to show you how the compensation works, inside this circle is the word YOU, or perhaps your name. This is the start of your organization, where it all begins, and where all the training for the people that know, like and trust you enough to partner up with you begins. Randy Gage, wrote a book called Making the First Circle Work, early last year. If you get the chance to read it I highly recommend it. The main principle of the book is, that your Organization starts with YOU. People duplicate what they see the leaders doing. They learn from your example, so it is a large part of your responsibility to be setting a great example for duplication in your organization. Interesting theory, I believe. What do you think? Is there anything you would like to add?

Very interesting theory. I would have to add that Making the First Circle Work would apply to a lot of other areas in life - not just in business. As a mother, as a wife, I have to make my circle work. It is within this circle that I can ensure the next circles will function well and so on. It is my responsibility to maintain what worked well in my parent's circle and change what didn't... and of course keep up with the times and adapt. So no matter what Organization we're talking about - business, family, friendship - we must remember that it starts with 'ME' in the middle. (Not that the world should revolve around me... that's a whole other topic LOL)

It is a great theory, I agree completely, in any kind of organization, the newer people in the organization try their best to duplicate what they like about the leaders, it is I feel what makes so many of them work so well, and so many more work so poorly. It does start with us, we are the centre of our universes, the most important people in the world to us, at least we should be. With out us, the people that depend on us, have to go else where, and do we trust those people? I so wish I could remember the word for believing you are the centre of the universe, ah well. Cheers, and thanks for stopping by.

What did you do with your inspiration? I hope you did something great, like taught a valuable lesson to a friend or client, or read a great book. Is it possible for you to get Think and Grow Rich in your part of the world?

Interesting...i may have to checkout that book! one must also work on personal development to become a good leader, so bring on the knowledge. If you make yourself the type of person that You would follow, then others will follow you too. people, by nature are followers. A good leader knows this & pulls him/herself ahead of the pack. If you are a good leader, they will follow...duplicate.

It is a good one, and it helps a touch with Personal Development, not as good as reading or listening to Jim Rohn, but a fair bit. I hear ya, I work harder on myself then I do at any other thing there is to do. Sincerely and With Appreciation.
